To ensure that your custom built RV parts get to you in good shape, All-Rite packages most products in custom wood crates or cardboard tubes. These custom packages are sturdy and built to withstand some abuse from our hard-working carriers. So please don’t be fooled by a crate or tube that appears “fine”. Inside could be concealed damage! A wood crate could be punched by a fork lift fork and dent the soft aluminum skin or frame on a compartment door. However, due to the flexibility of the material, the outside of the package may not appear damaged at all.
Rest assured, All-Rite inspects all products and packaging prior to shipping in order to ensure that they will reach you in good condition. We do not ship broken or scratched products to our customers.
Carefully Inspect All Packages
All-Rite strongly recommends OPENING and inspecting all products in the presence of the carrier prior to signing clear. If the damage is minimal and you can repair it yourself, accept the package but sign FREIGHT DAMAGE. If the item is too damage to work with, refuse the shipment completely and note freight damage. Taking pictures of damaged products and packaging that reveals damage helps facilitate a quick claim as well.
Call All-Rite IMMEDIATELY and we will file a freight claim and get your replacement product out to you as soon as possible.
Looks Can be Deceiving
Again, we cannot stress enough that concealed damage is possible even when our crates/packaging look to be in good condition. It is imperative you open all products and inspect for damage. While we all appreciate the work our carriers to moving our products across the state, it has happened that a tube of aluminum RV moldings has lost its cap, the moldings slide out and get scratched up, then get put back in the tube and recapped!
So again, open and inspect for damage as well as the number of pieces received on all shipments whenever possible. Contact us immediately if you ever have any questions or concerns. We are here to help!
